How Socialbud AI counts generated posts
When you create posts using Socialbud AI, the counter on the home screen tracks how many posts you've generated in a month. This article explains how the system works and clarifies common questions about the counting process.
How does the counter work?
Socialbud AI is designed to maximize efficiency by generating three posts for every user-initiated post creation action, regardless of which AI-powered feature you're using. This approach allows you to choose the best post for your needs or use all three for variety across your social channels.
Because each generation produces three posts, the home screen counter decreases in increments of three whenever you initiate a generation. This ensures the counter reflects the actual number of posts created, not the number of times you've initiated the AI.
This detail becomes especially relevant if you are using the smaller package, which allows you to generate up to 99 AI posts. Each generation decreases the counter by three, so after initiating the first generation, the counter will show 96 remaining Socialbud Ai generation.
On the other hand, if you’re using the larger package, the home screen displays an infinity symbol. In this case, you won’t see any changes in the counter, as there is no limit to track.
Common scenarios and questions
1. What happens if i don’t use the generated posts?
If you decide not to use one or more of the posts generated by Socialbud AI, the counter will still decrease by three. This is because the generation process already consumed resources to create the posts, even if they aren't used.
2. Can I get back credits for unused posts?
No, credits or generation options are not refunded or restored if you don’t use the posts. Once the AI has created the posts, the action is considered complete, and the counter reflects the usage accordingly.
3. Why do we generate three posts per action?
Socialbud AI generates three posts for each request to give users variety and flexibility. This approach allows you to:
Select the best option for your brand or campaign.
Use different posts across various platforms for optimized engagement.
Save additional posts for future use, repurposing them as needed.
This way, you always have multiple options to work with, streamlining your content creation process.
4. Does the counter reset?
Yes, the user’s counter resets every month based on the date of their initial subscription payment. For example, if the subscription started and was approved on December 15, 2024, the counter will reset next on January 15, 2025.
For the Start plan:
Both the Socialbud AI post generation counter and the counter for automatically prepared posts will reset to the maximum values included in the package. This means the user will have access to 24 automatically prepared posts and 99 Socialbud AI post generations again. For the Grow plan:
The Socialbud AI post generation counter will remain unchanged, showing the infinity symbol, as this package includes unlimited Socialbud AI generations. However, the counter for automatically prepared posts will reset to 48, reflecting the number of the automatically prepared posts included in this package.
5. How can I keep track of my remaining generations?
You can always see the remaining number of posts you can generate for the current billing period on the home screen. If you’re running low, you can consider upgrading your plan to access additional generations.
Tips for making the most of your generations
Save generated posts: Even if you don’t immediately use all three generated posts, you can save the extras for later. This helps you build a content library for future campaigns.
Customize posts: Use the editing tools within SocialBud to tweak the AI-generated posts to better align with your brand or campaign needs.
Plan ahead: Keep track of your campaigns and schedule posts to ensure you don’t run out of generation options mid-campaign.
