How to upgrade a plan in Socialbud

Upgrading your plan in Socialbud is simple and flexible. You can do it at any time to suit your evolving needs. This guide explains the steps and options available to ensure a seamless transition to your upgraded plan.

Ways to Upgrade your subscription

You can upgrade your subscription using the following methods:

  1. Settings

  2. Profile

Let’s explore each method step by step.

1. Upgrade your subscription via Settings

Follow these steps to upgrade through the Settings section:

  1. Open the sidebar menu and click on Settings.

  1. Within the Settings menu, locate the Platforms and schedule section.

  • In this section, you’ll find an Upgrade option for each social media platform. To proceed:

  • Click the Upgrade button to open the Manage Subscription window. To proceed:

    If you are unable to locate this option on your device, please open the app from a web browser.
    • Select your current plan

    • Click Edit Subscription.

    • Click on CHANGE

    • Click on the Package selector and select the plan which fits to your needs than Select billing frequency, then press Update button.

    • Click Update Subscription

  • Once the payment is successful:

    Your new plan will activate immediately after upgrading.
    • You’ll be redirected back to Socialbud.

    • A confirmation message will appear, notifying you of the successful upgrade.

    • This message will include an option to select your additional posting days. Click the Select extra days button to proceed.

  • You’ll be redirected to the Schedule and platforms page to choose your two additional posting days.

    Important notes:

If you were previously subscribed to the Get Started plan, the two original posting days remain fixed and cannot be modified.

You can only set or adjust the two additional days provided with your upgraded plan.

Don’t forget to save your settings in Platforms and schedule page using the Save button at the bottom of the page.

2. Upgrade your subscription via Profile

If you prefer upgrading through your Profile, follow these steps:

  1. Open the sidebar and click Profile.

  2. Click the three dots (...) to open a pop-up modal, and select Manage subscription.

  3. The Manage subscription window will open. To proceed:

    If you are unable to locate this option on your device, please open the app from a web browser.
    • Select your current plan

    • Click Edit Subscription.

    • Click on CHANGE

    • Click on the Package selector and select the plan which fits to your needs than Select billing frequency.

    • Click Update button.

  4. Once the payment is successful:

    • You’ll be redirected back to Socialbud.

  5. You’ll be redirected to the Schedule and platforms page to choose your two additional posting days.

Troubleshooting Subscription upgrade issues

Missing extra days after payment

If your payment was successful but the additional posting days from your upgraded plan do not appear in the Platforms and schedule page:

  • Please contact our Customer Support team for assistance.

Failed payment

If your payment fails:

  • You won’t be able to access the upgraded features.
